Actually Rossie, if you check I only "row" in on Connacht specific threads, and only rarely anymore. They are a sad bitter bunch on there....
And I'll make the point again, this is a Connacht Supporters Forum...
And with respect Connacht Cows, I always comment in a discussion from a point of fact (rather than speculation, or emotion / provincial loyalty) and my comments are 99/100 backed up by evidence....

I decry the holier-than-thou, "best fans in the Whole World" attitude of some Munster fans as well as any man, but I certainly won't deny Rossie's right to debate that. The guy's posts are interesting and insightful.

I find it very hard to have any sort of debate with you on here. If people dont agree with your opinion, you can come across very snobbish, and shoot down other peoples opinions, as if your own opinions are fact.
Example, the Danny Riordan debate last week, as well as the Vanikolo debate last week

it was a cheap shot and an unnecessary one at that but your right mary.
as for me using the handle rossie, if you feel im denying you your birthright(overstrander) its yours il find something else.
Rossie, you're on a Connacht board and our space to express our opinions. Our supporters are entitled to their own opinions regarding our opponents and as long as it is not a personal attack on a player not extreme in nature they are free to express those opinions.
As it is no-one on here can mention Munster in reference without you turning every thread where Munster are mentioned in even the slightest negative terms into an argument in defence of Munster and completely going off topic. If you feel you need to jump into every thread which references Munster or think that we should moderate our opinions of Munster where they differ from yours then perhaps you should take a step back.
The fact is that there aren't any extreme views of Munster expressed on here, but no-one is aloud any perception of Munster (often gained by actual experience) which doesn't fit into line with yours.

Why not?
This isn't Thomond where we have to rely on an invented tradition to make us stand out...
can you tell another way a tradition becomes a tradition if someone or some people dont come up with or, to use your word, invent an idea that others agree with and repeat over a significant period of time?
There is nothing conceited about showing respect for kickers whoever they play for. my memory of contepomi at thomond is the crowd cheering him everytime he missed a kick as opposed to jeering him before and during the kick.
However if you want to copy the french and create a venue thats renowned for disrespecting kickers and the opposition then knock yourself out. you can invent your own tradition!
that is if you can get the majority of patrons to follow suit.
Was wondering how long it would take for the man who defends all things Munster and calls himself Rossie to chime in.
Not long...
What amazes me is that you found it necessary to turn a thread posted in good faith about an eejit who considers himself a connacht fan behaviour in the clan terrace and bar into a cheap shot at a rival(for connacht not munster) provinces supporters and traditions?
Why was it necessary?
Is it anti munster bias burning inside you or an acute inferiorority complex? only you know the answer to that.
As for my handle well ive covered that many times before.
Discussions often move on to other subjects, that the nature of things, hence why they are called discussions, and why we are on a discussion board.
Don’t presume to know me. I am not anti-Munster, far from it. I don’t feel inferior, far from it.
You are not, and never will be a Rossie.
