we arent picking up yellow cards but the penalty count is very much against us. We are being crucified by penalties at the breakdown and in general. 17 pts from the boot of blair again last friday. This indicipline is costing us almost as much as our own inability to convert penalties recieved into points.

It's just a continuation on from the improvements in discipline last season where we made a major step forward. This improvement enabled us to stay competitive in more games particuallry those where in the past we would usually have faded badly in the last 1/4. Keeping all our players on the pitch for most of the game gives us an even chance. In the past we would lose one to two players each game for 10 minutes and usually blow up then at the end due to the extra effort required defensively...

Major Kudos to the defence coach for the improvement, and to the players for recognising the importance and buying in to it....
