The problem with analysis like that is it's unlikely to be any good to you- their performance analysts will definitely have spotted that and drilled it all week, it would be very unprofessional of them to be caught by the same relatively simple to fix problem two weeks in a row.
Plus we don't have the ballast to play a punishing pick and drive game unfortunately.

Interesting analysis from the ever excellent Murray Kinsella on the Pro 14 Hour last night about Saturday's game. Cardiff's young backrow v Munster in defensive situations near their line were getting trapped behind the ruck and not "sweeping" apparently.

We're down to the last home game of the season! Connacht take on Cardiff is what is likely to be a make or break game for both teams! Champions Cup Rugby and Pro14 playoffs are up for grabs. This game is likely to be a sell out!

And post game, the Connacht Clan will be delighted to present the Clan Player of the Year and Clan Young Player of the Year awards in the Clan Bar. All are welcome!

I Dunno Connachta teams that have troubled us have targeted our breakdown, a wettish day and if Nick Williams is back, the breakdown is somewhere Cardiff can make hay

Weather is uncertain. Probably light rain in 2nd half, which TBH and for once, will suit us vs a team like Cardiff
Odds are + 6 now :)

It would be nice to have that certainty I suppose. But I think as long as they don't get a TBP we should be OK. We'd still be a point ahead going into the last game with superior points difference, so they'd need 2 points away to Glasgow.

I put a euro on the accumulator above at six hundred and seventy five thousand to one, so if they all come in, I will be buying the drinks (and probably a charter flight to Treviso).

Fri Apr 12

6:35pm Southern Kings v Ospreys Premier Sports 2 / S4C (guarantees at least 4th – even no TBP for Ospreys would help)
7pm Benetton v Munster Free Sports (reduces Munster motivation and Treviso are arguably the least worst QF opponent)
7:35pm Edinburgh v Ulster Premier Sports 1 / Eir Sport 2 (don’t want a TBP for Edinburgh in case we lose and meet them in the playoff but Ulster defeat is better for next season’s Pro14 conferences and Champions Cup seedings)
7:45pm[strike] Newcastle v Tigers[/strike] BT Sport 1

Sat Apr 13

1:45pm Bordeaux v Castres Sky Sports Arena (to help La Rochelle – tough call as these are the two directly above them – you would think a Castres win might be better but Bordeaux have a tough run-in so I don’t think they are as big a threat)
3pm Gloucester v Bath BT Sport 3 / Channel 5 (Bath are level with Sale in fifth)
3pm Worcester v Sale (so they don’t need the 20th qualifying spot)
3pm Harlequins v Northampton (Northampton are 2 behind Sale)
4pm Stade Francais v Agen (very unlikey but it would help La Rochelle)
4pm Lyon v Perpignan (ditto)
4pm La Rochelle v Pau (so they don’t need the 20th qualifying spot)
3pm Connacht v Cardiff Blues TG4 / Premier Sports 2 (their fans are sound)
3pm Leinster v Glasgow Premier Sports 1 / Eir Sport 1 (not so important if Munster win but it could guarantee Glasgow top spot so Munster have nothing to play for if we end up needing a win)
5:15pm Scarlets v Zebre Premier Sports 1 / Eir Sport 2 (not that important but takes Scarlets out)
6:35pm [strike]Cheetahs v Dragons[/strike] Premier Sports 2
7.45pm Grenoble v Toulon Canal+ (Toulon are ten behind La Rochelle but no harm if they lose)

Sun Apr 14

11.30am Racing v Montpellier Canal+ (Montpellier just behind Le Rochelle)
3pm Chiefs v Wasps BT Sport 1 (Wasps are two behind Sale)
3:50pm [strike]Toulouse v Clermont[/strike] Sky Sports Action (doesn’t affect us but worth a look!)

I think you're judging him based on old beery Nick rather than the new aging like a fine wine version. He's played 80 minutes in 8 of his 15 league starts this season, including 5 of his 6 starts since the turn of the year.

Fair point on concentrating on ourselves though. Munster showed that Cardiff can be bullied up front, if we do that we win the game.

We've to stop overestimate Cardiff and especially N.Willams. He's 36 and 1/2 y.o. He obviously lost those 5% extra power, he's stopable, and won't last more than 30 minutes.

We have to focus on ourselves. Mainly concentrate on the key periods and not fall asleep a single minute. This include restarts, lineout, and initilal minutes after 2nd half kick-off which could have cost us the games vs Cheetahs, Zebre and Treviso

I'm with Salmson- Roux out is bad news. The guys coming in are good players but Quinn offers a physicality the other can't and is an increasing line out threat.
There's not many players in our squad that have a chance of stopping Nick Williams from 5m out and to lose one of them of is no bueno.
Lads need to step up- big shoes to fill!

I didn't wanna say it's good news. I mean Thonrbury/Dillane were good vs Zebre, very disciplined, and they have to prove they could retain their starting spots next year during RWC at least, maybe longer. Maksymew has has decent 14 minutes, too, I watched in carefully in replay.

No Quinn Roux. Less penalties conceeded.. But Thornbury has to prove how good he is
Farrell in. Massive boost.

Roux out is a disaster. Guaranteed scrum, lineout, and ruck wins in one player.

Sweet Jesus, not again.

Surely every team deserves a proper cooling-off period after their last Mike Adamson-ing.

Tom Farrell on the training pics. The eyes doesn't look good though.
Robb/Daly/Joyce all appear to pair with Bundee, in case.

No Godwin, No Carey...
