My plan all along was to get top 3 before the Munster game. So happy with that result. How many times have gone in at half time with a lead with the wind in the first half and just couldn’t score in the second half. Cardiff didn’t use the conditions all well as we did but the pressure on Cardiff for most parts of the second half is what I was most pleased with.

Ah yeah, so that’s champ cup sorted for next year.

Some game. Thought there was a lack of W cynical edge with us, but big performance done.

Jacks try was very special.

Thanks to all for stalling along in the Clan Bar for Player and Young Player awards.

Officially I don't think it's allowed but they definitely do it. They don't want to encourage it as it can slow up the queues if people don't have the barcode ready or if the phone switches to landscape mode or the screen locks while they're handing it over, etc. but they won't turn you away.

If you're in town a bit early and want to print it, you can do it for 20c at the City Library on Augustine St.
Email it in advance to galway-bw@printspots.com and they will email you back a code after a few minutes. Put the code into the printer/scanner machine in the library along with a 20c coin and you're sorted.

In theory we could have an away play-off. If we waste 68 points of goalavarage. Won't happen

Not really at worst. Worst case scenario sees us drop to 5th and get no playoff.

The players would know who was leaving, it's traditional to announce exiting players before the last home game of the season so the crowd can show their appreciation.

with such a huge game tomorrow was it wise to announce yesterday the players that will be leaving the squad next season, you would imagine that you needed a tight knit group before a big game like this so why announce the players who are leaving. , just thought it strange

Except Edinburgh. I'd like to get rid of the idea of an away play-off as soon as Friday...

It would be nice to have that certainty I suppose. But I think as long as they don't get a TBP we should be OK. We'd still be a point ahead going into the last game with superior points difference, so they'd need 2 points away to Glasgow.

I put a euro on the accumulator above at six hundred and seventy five thousand to one, so if they all come in, I will be buying the drinks (and probably a charter flight to Treviso).

Well that was a euro wasted!

Ospreys have the bonus point in the bag already so should keep their hopes alive.
Bring money tomorrow, ye'll have to buy yer own pints :-(

EDIT: Well none of those went our way. On the plus side, we know where we're going if we win (Ravenhill), and as connachta says, if we finish fourth, we're guaranteed to be at home for the playoff (barring some unlikely results including Edinburgh going nuts in Scotstoun, etc.)

think someone asked last week who's covering 10? same question this week, perhaps this is why Marmion is on the bench? Someone mentioned Leader, I think he covered 10 against toulouse at one point after ronaldson got injured but not sure Friend would know/depend on that?
