Popped onto the auld rugbynetwork site (for old times sake), and the Quins supporters were being great sports so had to applaud them, they are doing their club proud in defeat.

Well done Connacht, from a despondant Quins fan. Some of our top performances (Inc Toulouse away) have been down to defensive attrition. Connacht got it spot on. It's heartbreaking, but it's the great game. You should be proud of your team. Your support was outstanding.

I had decided to adopt Connacht as my 'European team' because I love everything about the club and the supporters. Obviously I decided to wait until after the Pool stage and I'm sure that once my temporary loathing of all things Galway ends in about an hours time I'll be online to buy the green shirt.... !

Well done.

Would love to see the tackle/missed tackle stats, Sky couldnt have highlighted the possession stats much more than they did.

My year old laughed when Ray made that hit. When I rewound it and played it again (love skyplus) she pretty much pissed herself. Not sure if I should be worried or proud...

Which brings me to tonights game, had to give my fairweather siblings my tickets as the better half is ill, but even if I had to watch it on tv, what a performance. Hardly missed a tackle all match, smashed them at the ruck, what a way to put that horrible run to bed.

Wow, just unbelievable. What a performance from the lads. What can you say really, delighted for them after the bad patch they had, a win like that going into the break is the icing on the cake, get back a few battered bodies to the rested frontline, bring on Cardiff and Glasgow

Take a Bow Connacht Rugby.A fantastic game with the right result, what an experience for the team beating the English champions. We certainly rose up and fronted up tonight !!!! we have played well in every Heineken Cup game including toulouse at home. Let's hope we can go into our next Rabo Direct fixture with a bit of wind in our sails. C'Mon Connacht we are all proud of you.

I thought for sure when the ball came back to the 'Quins on that last scrum they were going to lose it. As ugly a game as you'd like but a very gutty effort from the lads. Will certainly take it.

3 Irish teams left in it now, hopefully one of them can win it out so Connacht get a second shot at it!

Knew it was a mistake the moment they decided to take the points, NOC has actually had a harder time all season with the easier kicks and that one was the easiest one he had all night and sure enough he missed it.

Maybe Connacht conspired to give away the advantage of the wind this half, but I've a feeling their making too much of it on Sky. Connacht certainly have room to step it up in the second half, if they do they'll hold onto this lead.

Hate to think that with our limited possession, that we have left too many points slip already with our chance on their line in the first half, the missed kick brings back awful memories of the Leinster game.

Still, leading 9-5, second half against the wind... Jarvis with the winning try... I can still dream when we still have hope. Lads are doing well up to now. Besides the offside and the couple scrums (one on our 5m and another in the middle) Loughney is having a great game. Been thinking that a few of the Connacht players are offside, no way behind the back foot of the rucks, but we are lucky to be getting away with it, and doing a great job keeping them from gaining too many meters in their attack.
