I'll jump straight in there and say that I definitely think Elwood should not be sacked. Maybe a bit better targeting of games though. I will agree 13 games on the trot is hard to take but we are suffering from a significant amount of injuries and what I saw on sat was a tired team. We/Eric doesn't have the luxury of a large squad with strength in depth and we are a horrible run of injuries which is showing now. We have plenty of areas to improve on but there have been so many positive things happening this season despite the poor run of results. Even with the loss on sat I though the two replacement props equipped themselves well when they can in to the action. With such a large turnover of players from last year i think it is really only on next seasons results that elwood can be judged. Even at international level teams write years off as development years and I think we just have to to do the same.

Should Eric Elwood be fired? While I have great respect for the man as a servant of Connacht the simple fact is he's lost 13 games in a row. A statistic that should be and is unacceptable in any other sport. Even the much maligned Michael Bradley could win one every now and again. So what do you guys think?
