Any one know if the wooly hats the ball boys were wearing, green and white hoops are available to buy? seen them yesterday and thought they were tidy but I just had a look online and dont see them...

I didnt check out the Elverys Store at the Sportsground tho...

My guess is that those are actually Celtic soccer hats.  I've seen them in Elvery's and thought they looked nice.  Not green & black like we'd need them, though.  Look for some sweet Connacht Clan beanies in the weeks ahead.

You may not like it but it works as Leinster & Munster are testemant to. The amount of work that both Supporters Clubs do to support the Provinces would absolutely astound you. Connacht more than any of the other provinces need a structure for supporters to rally around....

I dont like the clan name and I don't like the promotion of it over connacht rugby but I can see the need to promote it to get momentum and numbers.

Well personally I can't wait to show my grand-children the very first Connacht Clan hoodie, with the Inaugural Season on the back. Born out of the ICRSC, who marched on Lansdowne to save Connacht Rugby, made up entirely of fans, and brought about by hard work from both Connacht Rugby and people like Leighton, we're not going anywhere soon, and we certainly are not band-waggoners!

No reason why we shouldn't be proud of the Connacht Clan as a separate entity to Connacht Rugby. They are different things and celebrating the first season of the Connacht Clan is definitely a great idea, and it takes absolutely nothing away from supporting Connacht Rugby!

T-shirts are exactly the same.  You'll be glad they say "Inaugural Season" on them 30 years from now when yours is one of only about 10 or 20 of them still in existence, trust me.
