great win, showed great attitude in second 1/2, jarvis/ anderson/ o'd made important impacts, v important win as we have a couple of v tough away games coming up

I was demoralised at 1/2 time, lacklustre - like form 2-3 seasons ago, line out etc abysmal

main difference IMO is that we have some depth in the squad now and the "bar" is now at our second half performance

can't get over the crowd and the noise, heard it was over 3500 - you can see that the crowd/ atmosphere are lifting the players

Second row for Connacht: Mike McCarthy

Connacht have made five changes to their team to face the Dragons a the Sportsground on Friday.

In the pack Ray Ofisa comes in at number eight for the injured George Naoupu. Naoupu came off last weekend with a knee injury and is likely to be out for a number of weeks.

Dave Gannon will make his first start since his return to the Province. The 6'6 secondrow, who has 55 caps for Connacht from his time there in 2005/08, replaces Michael Swift who is unavailable due to illness.

After making his comeback from injury against the Scarlets two weeks ago Brett Wilkinson makes the starting lineup, with Ronan Loughney providing prop cover from the bench.

There's a new half-back pairing with Frank Murphy at scrum-half and Niall O'Connor at fly-half. The 24-year-old former Ulster and Ireland U20 player scored the winning penalty in Connacht's victory over the Scarlets at the Sportsground and crossed for his debut Connacht try against Edinburgh last weekend.

Brian Tuohy comes onto the wing for Mark McCrea.

Meanwhile Pontypool back Geraint O'Driscoll makes the step up to Pro12 Rugby for the first time as he starts at number 11 for Dragons.

The 23-year-old replaces the injured Mike Poole on the left wing. Further changes in the back division after last week's win over Aironi include; Matthew Pewtner for Adam Hughes at 14, Pat Leach moves from 12 to 13 with Ashley Smith returning to the staring line-up at 12, and Joe Bedford starts at scrum half with Wayne Evans on the bench

The only change to the pack sees Nathan Williams in for Phil Price for his first start at loose head.

Form: Connacht's winning start to the RaboDirect PRO12 season came to a halt at Edinburgh on Friday, whilst the Irishmen's only defeat at the Sportsground in their last eight matches in all competitions was 12-26 to Cardiff Blues on 15 April. Newport Gwent Dragons move off the basement in the table courtesy of their 23-14 home win against Aironi on Sunday. Dragons have not won on the road since their visit to Aironi on 20 February. The Men from Gwent have lost their last six encounters with Irish opponents. The last six encounters between the two teams have all been won by the home side on the day, whilst Dragons' only previous victory on Connacht soil came on their very first visit in May 2004.

The teams:

Really glad to see Reynecke getting the start again.  He brings more to the table than Flavin, in my opinion.  Tough as nails, that guy.

I'm nervous as all hell, now.

The papers have us favourites. The bookies have us favourites. Dragons fans have us favourites.

Oh dear god no. We are like ireland. If were underdogs we want to prove people wrong, if were favourites we think its going to be a walk in the park. Its far from that. Might put 100e on dragons so the odds will favour them

ya that car park is open. Tell them to buy season tickets last chance tomorrow. Not sure if they will but i guess they will as they were for the scarlets game

They werent at the Scarlets game, but I am afraid I have already dangled the carrot...but they cannot commit to be able to go to every single game... yet they will pop to the odd one which will booast the numbers +3 tomorrow and that is always welcome!!
