director was saying how great it was to have the right to stick by them the whole season even when they were losing, said that they had 80 hours filmed. now id love to see them, popcorn and cans, could be good crack.
eric also spoke about the heineken cup games, same old same old, both teams need to win this game etc

Droptheclaw wrote: Good stuff seapoint - you're a few years ahead of me, I started in the Jes in '91. Give the expat shield a whirl, IMF, sorry to hear that happened when you tried it, I'll have another crack at it when I'm back in my flat and post if there have been any issues. Did you make sure you had the thing double clicked and then opened a new window to browse in?
The arcade in Eglinton was the place, alright. Great for whiling away the lunch when most of the other feckers got to go home for their lunches.
Good to hear the grand traditions were maintained after my departure...

Try expat shield tonight on the TG4 live feed and see if it works. I haven't yet had a problem so you should be ok. Lemme know if there's a problem and I'll see if I can source any other programmes
Ah right, then depending on your year I could have been one of those same lads :S (I left the bun-scoil for Dublin in 1980). Many's the afternoon spent "bumping" the slots out in Tofts, Salthill and Seapoint arcades, one in Lower Salthill too (never remember the name of it, so long ago). Also played a bit of Pool in the Arcade in Eglinton Street too. Was what summer and school holidays were all about, jesus they must have absolutely hated us...
I'll download the Expat Shield over the weekend and give it a dry run anyway...

I downloaded it this evening as was hoping to watch a re-run of the leinster game (nobody will put it on Youtube) but it won't let me watch it on the TG4 player, bad times.
there are highlights of the game in the connacht vs leinster thread, i posted it there if thats any good to you
Thanks swift4prez you're a gentleman, have watched the highlights a fair few times but am just being greedy and want to watch the whole thing again. Just frustrated cause there are a load of games in full up there from rounds 2 and 3 but nothing so far from the magical round 5.
