ConnachtCows wrote: Slightly off topic, but I heard something about Niall O'Conner at the weekend that hasnt been publicised at all.

He had a hairline fracture to his skull, and there was blood on his brain when he got injured.
It's been known since he got injured, that he'd be out for the rest of the season.

He was supposedly up in the office the day after the injury, and it isnt as bad as it sounds, but why was it not made known that he would be out all season.

I can understand, why they didnt publicise his injury, as some teams could see it as a target next season (pretty scummy).

Seemed fine on Saturday at the Q&A

They did, Linley had it in her column as well, it was widely known

Yeah, at the start of the season against Exeter I was impressed enough with him and he looked like a real running outhalf, and he's a big man to boot. I thought if we could get him a little more accurate with the boot then he could be a star.
I have no idea why he seems to be not developing here.

Seanin - wouldn't have been on the bench even if NOC was fit. It's like something from Donnie Darko.

Matthew Jarvis was created by seanin4711
not because he nailed that kick but why in the name of sweet jaysus(john duffy style) is he not playing more often???
very frustrating for him and the fans that have seen what he can do when given the opportunity.
only got on as a result to injuries to fetz and duff.
what is the craic here really???
