With 5 of their last 7 at home it's very hard to see Dragons not taking 8th.

9th - which would equal last year - is still very much on, with Edinburgh and Treviso in freefall.

Rodney Parade will be very tough. Dragons have played 6 home games in the Pro12 so far and have won 4, drawn 1, lost 1, beating the likes of Ulster and Ospreys.

If we could finish 8th, after having a much harder season this year due to 6 tough HEC games that would be an incredible result. But I live in hope!

I look at this as follows.
We are in a league within a league.
Therefore the objective is 8th.
Absolutely need to win in Rodney Parade to have a chance.

The final straight was created by ummm,
Only 6 games to go in this season and how's it looking?

Our run in looks like this
Scarlets(A)
MUNSTER(H)
Dragons(A)
ULSTER(H)
AIRONI(H)
Glasgow(A)

Three home and three away matches, with a serious grudge match against Aironi as they lead the head to head against us. We are the only team in the Pro12 with that not so wonderful honour.

This year we have 4 wins, 1 draw and 11 losses. Last year we finished with 7-1-14. This means to match last years performance we have to win 50% of our final games.

Our away form is awful. As per usual. And we finish with Ulster and Warriors battling it out for probably the last play off spot. Things are not looking good. With my super pessimistic hat on I can see us winning 1 game and that's it. Everything else looks like it could be just beyond us, although Scarlets could be a good opportunity during the 6N window, even if they did have a very good win against Treviso at the weekend.
