Did you think so? I don't disagree that there was a lot of messy ball but his passing was in general poor I thought?

Is it just me or was anyone else shocked by the decision at end to go for the draw especially with such a difficult kick. They were just outside the 22.When at home ,thought sticking it up the Geansai was the accepted otion. Anyway pleased enough with the 2 considering we could have ended up with squat.

Saw this written elsewhere as well, I thought it was the right call, don't get me wrong, imo a draw is a poor result in games like that but its better than 1 point especially given the run of losses we've had in the Rabo, if we had taken the ball up does anyone genuinely believe we'd have scored a try?

If we'd knocked on everyone would be saying why didn't we go for the posts. If there was a minute or two left I'd have gone up the line.

I think what should be questioned is why NOC went for a shot at goal couple of metres inside his own half in the 1st half which was never in his range which meant instead of being around the Glasgow 22 with a lineout we were back about 1/2 m inside the Glasgow half.

Swift pinged at the back of a ruck-very very harsh

O'halloran for colliding with full back-crazy,was a genuine attempt for ball.

Swifty,Macc,Georgy,Henry,Mul,O'D-Very good games

O'Connor-Big pat on the back, some great kicing.

O'Donohue done some great work with a lot of messy ball.

Vainkollo made a patcularly good clearance when under pressure in our own 22.

Such a talented backline but very predicable esp on 1st phase.

Moore did well, good pass and much quicker at the base than o donaghue who was caught numerous times as he ambled sideways from rucks thinking about passing.

Overall we got something from nothing IMO, hard to see what our tactics were.

Well done to keep the heads when it looked lost.

Very frustrated again. The fact we salvaged a draw was important but that effort simply wasn't good enough. Very disjointed display.

How many penalties have we given away for holding on due to a lack of support for the ball carrier, ball carrier getting isolated. Has happened consistently throughout the season, yet still happens a number of times in almost every game.

At the breakdown for me we just don't commit enough numbers and it makes it difficult, slow ball and our play is predictable after that with a backline receiving the ball standing still well behind the gain line and eventually an up and under is the option, only opposition indiscipline or a bit of luck keeps us alive. Its frustrating as we have the backs to do damage with Griffin coming back, along with Duffy and O'Halloran and Vainikolo looks more confident and in fairness gave imo his best display I've seen in a Connacht jersey so far (hopefully he's settling in). I don't rate Fa'aili but there is talent in that backline. We had bags of possession in the first half but never looked threatening.

For me we should have tried to use the rolling maul earlier than we did, as it has been an effective tactic for us if only just to get some front foot ball.

Part of the problem is at scrum half, Paul O'Donohoe just takes the wrong option too often and some of the passing was woeful, we had plenty of possession in the first half but some of the mistakes were very poor at this level. Moore deserves a shot to start against Edinburgh.

Fair play to O'Connor for the final kick and thought he did fairly well, some good touch finders and tried to vary play with cross field kicks, could still get us more territory in the first half I feel but we rarely got through enough phases for him to kick the corners in fairness. However, like with Ireland against Wales with Sexton, taking shots that are a good bit outside his range is poor decision making.

The Glasgow try was an embarrassment, as was the close call in the last few mins. Two props going straight through the middle is embarrassing.

Choke tackle is something that works fairly well for us and earned us a few turnovers.

Thought the scrum did well in general against a decent Glasgow pack, Ronan Loughney put in a good 80 mins again and they got us the chance to salvage a draw with the last effort, ok Glasgow got the shove for one penalty but in general happy with this area.

While personnel need to be changed in certain obvious areas, I wonder about the style of game we are playing, regardless of personnel can we ever expect to improve significantly playing the clueless style of rugby we showed tonight?

Final note, good crowd again, looked a bit less than the 4000+ called out but still a positive that we are holding that crowd, you'd worry for next year though with the season ticket numbers bound to fall. Connacht need to make sure they don't shoot themselves in the foot in that regard and work with local businesses and clubs to keep that number as high as possible.

Good result but not a good performance. We always have a brain fart as soon as we put pressure on the oppositions try line! we loose possesion, knock on,run into our own players make stupid forward passes, why do we not just be patient ???? that,s not a coaching problem, it's a players cocentration and trust in his own team mates, if and when we cut out these basic schoolboy errors then we will reap all the benefits and plaudits that go along with a W in the right column.
Come on Connacht you can achieve anything you like with a lttle more cocentration and patience.
Not a bad result but could have been better.
Very impressed with Dave Moore's contribution, the game speeded up and we had more ball going forward, hope he gets to start a game soon.

HUGE points i want to say after tonights game.

1. id bet my house that the first kick (i think) went over the bar by NOC

2. glasgow should of had at least a yellow and red in the first half. muldoon got stamped on in the face.

3. if grace is on a one year deal, then that is the last we see of him, his rant on twitter and now tripping up a player and gave away 3points.

4. well done NOC with the last kick, huge pressure

5. 20mins or so for a blood sub which didnt even seem to have any blood at all. ref was confused when all this happened

6. passing was piss poor. it wasn't cold so no exuse.

Yep, deserved two points. Would have been very hard on Glasgow if we'd nicked it. Huge Cajones from O'Connor at the death...

Glasgow looked like they were getting annoyed with him too, to be fair. Very stop start game.

Great to pull a result out of the bag, but we only looked dangerous against 14, for the rest of the time it was messy.

Yay for Troy. Glad to be able to give him a big cheer when he's back on home soil.

Glad to Grace get a start. Haven't seen enough of the lad, and he seems to really want to play so will be interesting to see how he gets on.

I just hope that Griffin is 100% this time. I feel like he's being pushed in too early sometimes. I don't think that taking chances with hamstrings is the way to go.

I don't get the Indiana reference. Is that what the lads call Henry?

Good to see Grace picked. He needs a big game to back up all his talk on twitter.

Just looking at the weather forecast and it looks like it will be clear but cold, so I'm expecting a deluge haha.

I hope there's a good crowd there tonight
