We need to stick together now 'til the season ends and then review where we at in terms of squad strength. We know the IRFU needs to get it lazy eye on us and focus seriously on improving us as well as us helping ourselves.
I have been to All-ireland Finals, Premier league matches , Celtic & Rangers matches, International matches but never have the hairs stood up on the back of my neck when we belted out the Fields and had the Toulouse stadium resounding to 'C'mon Connacht'. Felt like the Spartans at Thermopola.......even the Toulouse players were looking at us with a bit of fear & respect in their eyes.
I will be there next year and the year after and the year after....................
We must believe that we will kick on and we will progress because too many people have invested themselves in the club.

We should be proud of ourselves and how we represented the club. We will stand up and be counted, we will end this losing streak , we will solve our problems and we will MARCH ON!!
This is Connacht and next Friday against Harlequins lets show them what the club means and stands for. I have had enough of negativity about us , we know we have squad depth weaknesses but we all need to help force progress through.
Never been so proud in all my life singing our hearts out in Toulouse!!!
Absolutely, not ashamed to say that there was more than one tear in my eye at the end of the game when the lads came over as we belted out The Fields, I felt like a proud parent. Extremley proud of them all for the effort that they put in, you could see that the lads being replaced had literally run and tackled themselves into a standstill. Yes we made a few errors and didn't take full advantage of some of the opportunities that we created, but I'm conscious how much pressure they and we put on them to get out of this rut in games that realistically on paper they have no right to win. As long as they keep on putting their best efforts in so will I..
This is a huge learning year for this squad, and I have no doubt even if the squad does not change during the summer we will be the better for it next season on the pitch as well as having massively improved facilities at Our Rugby Home....
Nice to meet you in Toulouse also btw...
