Just back from the game. Brought a friend to the Clan terrace for their first game. They loved every minute of it.

It was another missed opportunity. More points we should have picked up. I did learn that Jarvis has to start ten. We need a kicker though. I know Duffy used to kick an odd time for wegians when he first joined them, would he be worth a go? he was an irish schools out half so might be an option.

I was impressed with Tonetti, felt he had a good game. I also think henry offers a lot from the bench against a tired opposition.

I would start red neck in Hooker, think he offers more. Kearney had a good game and is only going to improve. Mul is not an 8 though.

Heartbroken once again though and it is still 12 losses on the bounce.

I should consider this a victory since it looked like Leinster were going to score late and my prediction was going to come true, but fair play Connacht didn't give up and did well to work themselves into range for an attempt at a winning DG. Still it was a game they should have won and a draw probably would have been a fair result since they played more of the rugby.

Typical Connacht, score the try, miss the conversion that would draw them level, then knock on the restart.

Finally a try, a bit surprised Leinster would go for a dummy. If they had been watching any of Connacht's games they'd know a pass is never made at the crucial time. Wish NOC was on, he would have made that conversion. :P

Let's get some smarts about us. Deep in your own half, ref gives you a warning, but still you insist on handing Nacewa 3 more points.

Also, wish Sportsground faithful would put aside etiquette and jeer Nacewa as he's lining up his kicks. :P

Complete and utter speculation about Nacewa, putting 2 & 2 together and getting 5.....

You honestly think that we were the only team interested in him last summer, that none of the Aviva or Top 14/Pro2 or other Pro12 Clubs weren't aware of his availability...? Yet he resigned for his current club. Was pure brinksmanship on his and his agents behalf to boost his contract negotiations...

Connacht playing most of the rugby, but of course Leinster looking the more threatening. If they manage to hold onto the ball inside Connacht's 22 their sure to score. Credit to Connacht's defense, but they can't keep it up forever. If Connacht do not score first next half, and it probably has to be a try, they are never going to win this one.

I don't agree with booing any rugby player ,ex players especially, if you want to vent some anger EE is a good start but more so the ref and his two blind and stupid side kicks as no doubt they will be up to the usual IRFU standard.

Chanting for Jarvis is a bad idea. Fair enough we would prefer him to play instead of NOC right now, but that'll destroy the lads confidence altogether. All players that put on a Connacht jersey should be supported no matter what. Now I'm all for jeering Hagan :P

My thoughts exactly about O Donoghue. The extra few years scrubbing around the reserves in Leinster has let bad habits fester. Passing can be very poor at times. However, he's tough, he's willing, and will get into the action, and that's more than can be said about Frank.

Seems to be a bit of a frenzy developing for Jarvis. To me he has the raw materials to make a good out half for us in time but his game needs work. To me he is the best we have to get the backline moving, goal kicking and tactical kicking needs work but NOC isn't nailing it down in this area recently.

He was down the pecking order at Ospreys. I'm sure he came here with the aim of getting game time and developing as a player. It'd be good to see him given a chance. If not I don't want to hear any more from EE about operating with a 29 man squad, its a small squad compared to other sides but manageable if the squad was fully used.

O'Donohue offers a bit more about the fringes than Frank Murphy is at the moment and is prepared to get into the action. His decision making is suspect though. The lack of game time at Leinster hasn't helped him, probably should have moved with Keatley back in 2008.
