Some big boots to fill there. I hope the replacements are at least as good as the frosting lads.

Wish all these guys well whatever it is they decide to do now. Some have had wonderful days in green, and I'm thinking Niyi, McKeon, and McCartney there. Others had much more to give. I'm disappointed about Fainga'a - but we've known for some time that he's going. Very disappointed about Godwin who has been our best player bar none in the last 18 months and Mr Dependable and Versatile. I can only assume this was a forced budgetary move. Also disappointed to see Leader leave as injury-free he would have challenged for the 15 jersey next season.

Shame to see a few of these departures. Wonder if Niyi Adeolokun could be Bristol bound or Toulouse , Lam loved him and he's still very pally with Pita Akhi on Instagram. Really interested to see where he lands. Judging from his brother's twitter Leader is going to the states, wonder has McKeon anything lined up, he was tremendous for us, shame about injuries recently.

Disappointed to see the homegrown guys in particular leaving. No surprise that they are three guys who've had more than their fair share of injuries over the years.

Looks like Connacht have released the list of players leaving us this year, and it includes:
Tom McCartney
Eoin McKeon
Niyi Adeolokun
Darragh Leader
Kyle Godwin
David Horwitz
Joe Maksymiw
Colby Fainga’a
Robin Copeland
Rory Burke
Peter McCabe
Angus Lloyd
These are some huge names and familiar faces that graced the SG with their playing over the past number of years. Some entirely homegrown talent. It's such a shame that we weren't able to give these gents a proper sending off.
I really don't know what to say. Some of these were expected, some were obviously not.
