there is nothing interesting about a brumbies match in fairness.

Frankly these kinds of kites should be flown BEFORE everyone gets a snow day and spends their Friday morning on the couch watching Brumbies play the Reds. It would have made it a lot more interesting ...

If we are signing a ten it isn't Godwin, he's a specialist centre. Of his 80+ professional starts most at 12, with about a dozen at 13. He's never started a pro game at outhalf as far as I can see from the various stats sites.

Can't see why we'd need a 12 unless Farrell is moving back to 13 next season, in which case Godwin would be Bundee's understudy, not a starter. Maybe he's equally at home in both positions.

Underwhelming signing if it's happening, and possibly a shocking waste of an NIQ/NIE spot.

Would he be signed as a 10 or a 12 though ?
With Ahki off we do need somebody signed in the centre. Maybe there's an actual 10 in the pipeline too.

From a friend who watches Super 15
Godwin is a distributor that cant pass, has terrible tackling stats and he's never had a good game as long as hes seen. and the green and gold podcast like to constantly give out about him

Ruaidhri o'connor mentioned it so pinch of salt required mentioned Kyle Godwin as an incoming player on tonights off the ball

It may just turn out to be a bargaining tool on his side but talks are at an advanced stage.

Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

Agreed, fair enough he finished his tries well at the weekend but although he's been one of our better players this year he does seem to knock on or get turned over in the tackle a frustrating amount. Possibly something Joe S has noticed

Though he's indeed a priority. Can't keep a ball in contact but otherwise very good winger, improved in defence

Could be wrong, but didn't Healy go into contact in the process of scoring both his tries at the weekend? But what would I know?
