To come back to the game I'd say
Glasg should win it by the mobility of the 2nd/back-row : Swift/Muldowney/Muldoon/Naoupu are big beasts, but not exactly fast and quick runners...
Connacht could.grab something on the Centre channel (McSazz/Henshaw can produce serious damage to old Downey/young Bennett), AND with the front row

Great find. I can pick it up on the tunein radio app on my phone
Looking forward to hearing the Scottish commentators cry about the ref and the result
Only on MW, see earlier posts. Might still be on TuneIn though, but they probably just have FM.

For me it was either start Marmion and keep him on as long as the game was in the balance or not involve him at all. There's no reason to have him on the bench. It's highly unlikely that he would be needed to make an impact in the final 10-20 minutes of this game and there's no reason to risk him at the end of a lopsided affair. Lam probably has this call right, Connacht are going to need either Cooney or Porter to step up this season so there is little drop off when Marmion is away on international duty.
This game is another test on how Lam is doing. In the past Connacht have made some changes to the team especially for an away game and they lost all their shape. I don't expect a win or even necessarily a LBP but they can not let this turn into a 6 try rout. It will undo the momentum built up over the first 3 weeks and make it harder to bounce back against Cardiff.

No Strauss, no Nakarawa or Gray and no Matawalu! Arguably Glasgow's four best players over the last 18months. How can you say this game is unwinnable? I know your just giving a prediction but you were willing to give us a chance against Leinster, I'm just surprissed you're so convinced we don't have a hope in this one.
Yeah agree with this, I'm pleasantly surprised with what they're putting out and the step down from what is their best team. Without those four players and Dunbar they're lacking impact off the bench. If we can stop Downey early then we *might* be able to contain them. I can't imagine he's gotten that much better at passing in just a few months.
Kellock played an A game just a few days ago, he's very unlikely to play a full game and no Gray on the bench is a let off.
If McKeon puts in a big shift and our counter rucking is stepped up even further then McKeon could come out on top of Fusaro. Adam Ashe is a big young lad but inexperienced, if our scrum is putting them under pressure will he have much control of the ball? If Porter is alive to this he could spoil Ashe's move off the base.
We're getting used to tight games now, so I won't predict a Henshaw double this week. It'll probably come down to a Ronaldson drop goal in the 78th minute. We're gonna win this lads!

Will be interesting to see Porter from the start, with Cooney to come on around 50mins. I believe Porter is a decent place kicker too.
yeap, forgot about this, at least our kicking success rate might improve a little bit.. And if we're still in contention after an hour, why not hoping to bring back something...

Also glad Lam listened to me, putting Swift instead of Kearney/Roux, and Ah You instead of White
Slightly disappointed that he risks Henshaw and Poolman, but Niyi has to have a day off, that's ok
Bitterly disappointed Buckley is in the starting team again, he played the whole 80 on each of the 3 matches! (- 2 or 3 min). He's such a key player
mistake also to combine our only two senior n°8 in a unwinnable game (even if I like this combination in the absloute)
And with that Glasgow teamsheet, I'd say + 17 for them, realistically

PP has us +11 so your not a million miles away but I just think to say any game is unwinnable is a bit much especially against this Glasgow side who have a fair few injuries in key positions. Without wanting to come across too one eyed, I genuinely think this team has a chance especially if we can stay within a score with 60 or so mins to go. As with the first 3 games this season we are going to need a lot of luck if we are going to get anything out of it and Glasgow are a good if not the best team in the league but unwinnable? Not sure about that one.
But they have a couple of very good players returning to the team, Ali Kellock will certainly strength the team. Strauss is the bigger loss for them but i think the +12 with Bet365 is about right. Last week we were half that in the handicap and I thought we had a chance, this week I'm afraid to say we're probably going to lose, of course i have hope but logic tells me they will get all the points

The two main reasons are very simple
1) I saw them play for the last two matches, and they are cleary the most impressive team of the league for the moment, even ahaed of Ospreys
2) They're playing HOME and they are undefeated there in the last 9 matches
