I see only two of the lads that left Connacht, Cronin and Keatley have made the bench for the Heineken Cup this weekend. I think there might be a few regrets from Carr and Hagan when they see Duffy lead our lads out on to the pitch at the Stoop this evening.

Ah, right, confused a bit there. I thought you mean the spelling of the naughty word required the accent.

Still, silly language, you need to see it written down to make sure people know you're talking about his name and not your opinion of him :)

No accent, but if you want to be picky, ok, he's biatches!

His name means that if you drop the 's' and the accent on the final 'e' so bit of a push, I think...

Probably jumping the gun a bit here, but I think Garces is an excellent ref. Far superior to Romain Poite and that other French lad (Pascal Gauzere) that was (meant to be) in charge of the Leinster-Munster match last week.

Oh, really don't rate Garces.

And his name in French means biatch, which is apt for a ref.

Hopeful's ok, deluded works too, insane is better, but a referee who isn't a homer is best of all....

I think you're probably deluded, but I really hope you're right and I'm wrong.

COME ON CONNACHT.

I believe. Need to play smart rugby tomorrow. We've all see us play patches of games where we've controlled possession, and worn down teams.
Our biggest problem, is that when other teams get more than 5 minutes of the ball, they always look like they will score.
We need to do the simple things right tomorrow. Won our own lineouts. Take marks in our 22. Contest the Quins lineout (Mike McCarthy, I think I love you). Dont get bullied on the pitch. Take 3 points when they're on offer.
Maybe try the maul early on in the game like we did against Cardiff, but we can't keep going to it. As the Blues did, teams quickly find legal ways to take it down, and we're stuck.
Need to have players running on to passes too.
Too often recently, we've been static when the first receiver takes the ball from a ruck. We end up losing too much ground.
Most importantly, we need to make tackles. Nothing is more upsetting than seeing an easy try scored against us. We cant let Quins break out an early 10/14point lead thanks to shoddy defending.

I, for one am confident, if we do all of those things, we will see an upset

What's the consensus on the team?

Ah You, Tuohy lucky to be in the team after the last game, Vainkolo unlucky not to at least make the bench?
