Agree with wasrednowgreen the triple h were excellent and Faloon was in great form.
The ref was good last night and it was great to hear him (them) get a round of applause
coming off the pitch.
This is something that we should encourage as constantly having a go at the ref doesn't do us any favours in the long run.

Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

Lads, I have to be honest, I'm a bit disappointed, I know we won but first game back and nobody has given out about the ref yet!!!

Sounds like a solid effort with some rustiness thrown in for good measure. The only thing I'd say about Swifty is that he didn't get much game time in pre season so was always going to struggle a small bit. Great to hear Heenan has impressed a lot of people. Again would love for certain journalists to draw the dots together and acknowledge the fact EOS would never have been able bring these players in.

looking forward to seeing more of Heenan, is there room in the team for 2 no.7's at the same time.

Why not trying him or Faloon as 6 if Muldoon is injured/out of form?

P.S. Had no Idea that the clan was sponsoring Healy when was that agreed? Has the money being raised? Info please!

Have a look at the topic "Player Sponsorship", it's all there. Also agreed at AGM.

In my opinion, it was really about the 3 Hs last night at the match. Henshaw, Healy and Heenan. All three were really excellent last night - Heenan seriously looked a player when he came on. Thought Falloon was in superb form also.

However, while no doubt a brilliant servant , Swifty's time is definitely coming to an end :(

Onwards and upwards ..............!!!

He didn't mention any sponsors after White, Parks or Carr either, not just Healy. I noticed at the time and thought it was fairly unusual.

They didn't announce it but their sponsors were shown on the big screen.

Noticed that Fionn Carr doesn't have a sponsor...

Because we're not his official sponsor yet. Money hasn't changed hands yet to sponsor him.

Would have been nice though...

Connacht could not get out of there own half for the first 20 minutes of the second half. The game open up with 15 minutes and Connacht backs started making some great breaks but ran out of time in the end

Great to get the win, if parks had converted half of the chances I think the bonus point was on offer. Defence needs to push up faster. Too many connacht forwards taking the ball standing then getting pushed back in tackle better teams will dominate connacht around the rucks. Parks controlled the game well and good to see the bench used early in the second half and all the subs did make a impact except for Henry

I also think that you could see Ronaldson pushing Parks this season as well. Thought that he looked good in his short period on the pitch.

I guess you mean
Clarke for Swift
Muldowney for Browne
Fafita for Muldoon
Finn/Murphy/Henshaw for Griffin
And maybe Cooney for Ah You on the bench?

Would like to see Kearney somewhere in the mix as well. (I know that leaves no room for swifty)
Not sure when Fafita or McKeon will be available for selection but in meantime would stick Browne in at 6. I think George was back to his best in the last 2 games and was our best option in lineout yesterday. He never really recovered form after his neck injury last season.
Brian Murphy has never disappointed at 12. Griffin looks good this season. but I suspect we will see Henshaw tried at 13 once Duffy gets back.
In previous seasons the team almost picked itself. Greater depth is emerging in lots of positions.
