Biarritz Olympique Pays Basque has signed temporary exemption from work with two coaches, Serge Milhas Jack and Isaac. To allow discussions to engage in good conditions, about the situation of sports and BOPB its consequences, coaches agree to be exempted from occupation until January 6, 2013 inclusive. Three days after being beaten by Connacht in the Heineken Cup, Biarritz have sacked their head coach Jack Isaac #rterugby

Following a nightmare evening in Galway, Biarritz seem to be in turmoil ahead of this week’s return match against Connacht. Club president Serge Blanco had already criticised the team’s recent performances ahead of the trip to Ireland. And it can only be assumed that another error-filled display in Europe will have done little to improve his mood.
Blanco has been unusually reserved since the defeat, but France’s record try scorer confirmed to Midi Olympique on Sunday that he would be reviewing the situation. “It would be useless to act in haste,” said Blanco. “I’m going to see everyone this week. We’re going to see each other, yes, and talk.”
Blanco does not like to dismiss coaches mid-season but the feeling is that Jack Isaac and Serge Milhas – who reportedly had an hour-long meeting with the Biarritz president yesterday – will not last the current term. After starting the season with four wins from four in the French Top 14, Biarritz’s domestic form has dipped alarmingly since then.
“Terminus à Galway” was how L’Equipe summed up Biarritz’s chances of qualifying, and a disgusted Imanol Harinordoquy agreed. After picking up just five points in three matches, the club captain said their hopes of reaching the knockout stages were “finished.” While also praising Connacht’s performance, he lamented the “debutants” errors his team had made.
Perhaps more damning was the assessment of scrumhalf Dimitri Yachvili. “The orders were to play the ball, to keep possession for as long as we could, to try to put them in difficulty,” he said. “On the field, we only implemented the orders we were given.”
If the suggestion is that the coaching staff have lost the dressing room, Yachvili’s analysis was not a vote of confidence.

Could you delete the above post as it's got my email address on it and it's been suggested I alter it so it can't be picked up and used for spam?
Cheers

Windsor you can't attach it directly, you'd need to upload it online first (YouTube etc) and then link to it..

Good idea, anyone have any clips from Friday they'd like to share?
What a night... and what a celebration after... I'm still struggling! Big shout out to the Biarritz fans who are probably the best away supporters I've ever seen at the Sportsground. Absolute class and great craic. Cannot wait to get over there on Friday. The Clan bar looked really well too, kudos to the lads who put in the effort and nice to see the hall of fame pics on the wall.

Jesus,  Monday morning is hard enough to make sense of without inflicting that on it. I couldn't resist a visit to L'Equipe on Saturday and I have to say it made as much sense to me in French!

At least the soundtrack fought until the end. Even when the Scots Dan Parks has passed a new penalty (22-9, 78th). Aled Brew has been - logically - refusing a test (80th), the ball having previously bounced on the sideline. Imanol Harinordoquy and finally managed to flatten in the in-goal Irish (80th +2), the video referee confirming the action of the third international line. But Dimitri Yachvili missed the conversion then depriving the soundtrack of the defensive bonus. And especially this last stand has not erased the impotence of the Basques, who failed worry Connacht. Yet Everything started well with the first points scored quickly Yachvili (3rd). But the Irish responded immediately. Poor reception of Charles Gimenez was recovered by David McSharry. Which served Fetu'umoan Vainikolo. Tongan winger then parted company with the French, and after a sprint fifty yards, scored the first try of the match (6th). Biarritz relied on the boot of Dimitri Yachvili to stay in contact with his opponent (10-9 at halftime). BO even dominated the first forty minutes. But the Irish defense held firm. Shortly before the break, Connacht found himself temporarily reduced to fourteen, following a yellow card inflicted Eoin McKeon. But it has not destabilized the team Celtic. Dan Parks has quickly passed two penalties (47th, 52th). And his kick was not far from serving Tiernan O'Halloran, traveling at the trial, but the Irish winger missed the ball. Then six new points of BO Parks buried before the reaction last few minutes. Biarritz conceded their second defeat in three matches in the European Cup. Qualifying for the quarterfinals bad start.

There sub LH headbutted Loughney twice after a scrum towards the end
I won't hold my breath though. Jim Hamilton for Gloucester got away with gouging against us in the Sportsground last year. Disgraceful

White should be back I'd say, although I'd give Loughs the nod, he had the edge on Barcella. Would be great to have White to come on.
Not sure if George will be back, fingers crossed

McCarthy was an animal all night, but Browne for me was the MOTM. He just hit everything that moved on Friday and it was only his first ever HC game. Kearney very impressive too. Just so exciting when you see the age of this squad. Who ever takes over next year from Eric really is coming into an exciting squad.
McSharry was great and I was devastated not to see his massive hit on Balshaw on TG4 last night! TOH played extremely well IMO, he was busy all night looking for work and think he just got blinded by the floodlights for that cross field by Dan. Poolman looked comfortable which was nice to see. Henshaw was great, he's not the full article yet and is still not 100% under the high ball but he is a very dangerous runner and rarely goes backwards. He needs a full contract ASAP.
Really the goal for Friday has to be get that LBP. I know it might sound to some like a surrender attitude but to be honest we have a dreadful away record and the French teams do not like to lose at home whether or not they have something to play for. It's gonna be a massive slog and it'll be interesting to see if White comes back in for Loughney and if Swift comes in for Kearney. I'd like to see Kearney left at 4 while either or with White.
Excited for Friday now!
