Scheduled Bus

By public transport the best way from Galway City is to take the 12.00 GoBus or 12.30 Eireagle and transfer either to the 15.00 Aircoach or the 15.20 Bus Eireann service arriving Belfast at 16.50 or 17.25
Returning on Saturday you could get the 11.45 BE service and connect with the 14.15 Eireagle.

If you want to return straight after the game, you might be in time to catch the 22.30 Aircoach from Belfast to Dublin Airport (arrive 00.20) and connect with the 00.30 Eireagle and get to Galway at 3am.

Accommodation

There is no shortage of accommodation in Belfast. Many places will accept a booking with free cancellation, so if you are thinking of going, it might be a good idea to book something provisionally.
