ConnMunster2021

Following on from a strong week in the RDS last week, Connacht entertain Munster in the Sportsground this week. Here's hoping our lads finish off the Christmas Interpros on a high note! Make your voices heard from all across the province!

We were lucky to come away with the losing BP out of that game. Fair play to Munster, they played a limited but very effective game against us. Their maul was a great platform for them, they defended like demons, they deserved the win.

On our side, thought Ultan was immense again. Masterson seemed to be everywhere. Marmion made a great impact off the bench.

Your heart goes out to Sean, he was playing great rugby and then HIA. hopefully he’ll clear all the protocols and be back in no time.

The last few mins were heartbreaking. Less said the better.

Will be tough video review for the lads this week.

I suspect Boyle won't be available for selection, but we'll see at lunch time. Huge game, and while the win last weekend was great, we definitely got the rub of the green. Munster will come fully loaded, and they'll be looking to start fast. Forecast seems to be for more of what we've been getting, which is what we need (dry/calm). Fingers crossed Jack had another strong game, keeps us playing in their half of the pitch, and the lineout/maul improvements continue.

Is Tiernan available? Know he went off with a knock at the Leinster game?

Absolutely Shane. Daly to provide cover at 10 for Carty. This is a must-win game to keep our chances of a trophy this season alive, and on our day we're good enough to win the Pro12 this year.

Betty Swallocks wrote: Assuming no further injury concerns from last weekend and no further Covid19 standdowns, could we see something like this team next weekend (I'm assuming Bundee will be passed fit and Sean O'Brien won't be)?

Porch, Sullivan, Arnold, Daly, Wootton, Carty, Blade, Buckley, Delahunt, Bealham, Roux, Thornbury, E Masterson, Butler (capt), Boyle.
with the bench:
Heffernan, McAllister, Aungier, Dillane, Papali'i, Marmion, Aki, O'Halloran.

Thats a good Team, asuming you're looking at Daly as 10 cover (Just in Case), don't want be be like Leinster and complain about lack af 10's in a squad
Might replace O'Hallaran for BOD2.0 #OurBOD.
