Absolutely massively chuffed for Fets. He has had a slow start, and the weight of expectation was on him after replacing Carr, but you can't argue with 2 tries. He should enjoy that.

Interesting to note that the match report on the Dragons site said Fets and TOH swapped wings before the game started. Maybe that's what his talents have needed for a while.

A bit funny that he was putting questions about Scottish rugby to a Kiwi who had spent the past few years in Connacht.

They show the tries at the 59th minute of the stream. Interview with Troy Nathan at the 56 min mark as well.

For Fetus 2nd try, have a look at the number 9, he seems to be caught flat footed and then just concedes and doesn't bother making any effort to tackle. To be fair to Fetu, he finished the 2nd try really well, good power and a bit of a step thrown in for good measure.

The first try is a nice take from Fets too, to get in done in the corner at that speed, beautiful pass from Tonetti to set it up. The boy is a quality finisher.

Two really well taken tries, showed bags of confidence for both. Big loop pass out to touch for the first and a 20m sprint to dot down. Really liked the second one though, stepped out of Groves tackle, stepped back inside the scrumhalf and had the confidence to hit the gas and take the full backs tackle and drive over for the try. Top class finishes both......

Did you catch the Troy Nathan interview two minutes before, feck he looks different with a short back and sides.... :woohoo:

Agree, first try was was well taken as well as the class pass from Tonetti, reminds me slightly of McComishs pass to Swifthy for the iconic try against Leinster.

edinburgh just scraped the win, it's all to play for at our end of the table. Sounded like Tonetti was great and Rodney was pants.

I might not be too hard on Rodney, don't think he was involved in any legitimate 8 man scrums tonight. Sure he hasn't been great this season to begin with, but it's tough coming on down a man just as the other team and their fans are getting into it.

Fantastic result, but serious concerns over Rodney. I would rather see Maguire get a push for the rest of the season.

Could give out about the discipline in the second half, but given Connacht's away record, in the end, it's a great win. Congratulations to Vainikolo on his brace of tries, hope it's a sign of things to come over the last few games. Sounded like Nikora had a good game, it would be a shame if he get's dropped should NOC return considering he's now put back-to-back performances together. Since I didn't see the match I can't say for sure, but think part of Connacht's discipline problems stemmed from the green Italian ref trying to even things up a bit in the second half. Still they need to be more professional and clinically finish off these games where they are ahead. Roll on Ulster!
