Murphy was solid at 9 yesterday but he really is performing at his lowest level for the past three years. He is not for the future.
I'm beginning to feel more confident about the future now: signing White, possibly Parks, Wilkos recent performances, McSharry's occasional brilliance, Griffen, Grace, NOC becoming more consistent, Moores excellent cameos, TOH as a scoring threat........
We have cause to be optimistic

delighted for Buckley, liked his attitude from 1st time i saw him in "A" game against botha and munsters 1st team starting front row. was under fierce pressure thru out but kept on battling and looked like he was enjoying himself and determined to survive. hopefully that will get him his contract.
He did well at scrumtime and looked for work, but his first up tackling was absolutely terrible,

murphy had a great game, well done to eric or whoever gave him that kick up the bum. slow ball once or twice but id give him 8 out of 10.
NOC had a good game only missed 1easy kick. poor guy could bearly walk of the pitch and nearly got sick doing so. hope its not serious.
buckley owned that number 1 jersey, i was worried as he is a kid still but if he stayed on a bit longer i think he would of gotten man of the match

Defensively we are competing very strongly at the breakdown but we just seem to be conceding ground with the hope of earning a turnover on the ground or in contact, we earned a few good turnovers that way but Edinburgh were going up the pitch with alarming ease at times doing nothing special. Its a dangerous tactic.
I thought NOC kicked well from penalties both from hand and from the ground bar the soft one he missed, Jarvis did ok when he came on, we looked more threatening when he was on and he pushed his two kicks through the posts. His routine seems now even more unorthodox than the two step run up. Fair play to Denis Buckley, did his cause no harm tonight, more than held his own in the majority of scrums and was willing for work, some good displays in the pack.
Lots to work on but good to get our first Rabo win since September. Need to keep pushing on now and get a few more wins to make the table look a bit better come the end of the season.

Great win for the team, and to deny Edinburgh a bonus point.
Would love to hear how backline were with ball in hand? NOC might be finding form with the boot by the sounds of things

Edinburgh not converting their tries and O'Connor nailing every kick kept us just a nose ahead all the way through. Good to see Matt Jarvis banging over a couple as well, a nice boost for his confidence....

Nope worked grand, but there were times when I didn't want to hear it. Job done though win in the bag. Well dug out lads after making things hard for yourselves yet again...
On an upwards to Scarlets now....
