Hoping Scarlets do us a favour against the Blues, as they still have a lot to play for - Ulster have a tough end of season run and Scarlets could fancy themselves to overtake them.
A win against the Blues would be a good start for them . . and us.
Our game against Treviso is a potential banana skin as they are going really well at the moment.

With the weekend's results, I would have thought it was now a two horse race between Connacht and Cardiff for third spot, but the bookies seem to have come to the conclusion that we're already practically home and hosed. PP have Connacht at 1/4 for a top 3 finish and Blues at 4/1 (and Ospreys out to 50). I suppose home advantage when we play them is the key factor there, but they should beat Scarlets and Ospreys so we really need to win the next three.

Every Welsh rugby fan I know already suspects the provinces of collusion in the derbies anyway. In reality I doubt either the Welsh or the Irish are or would be at it.

Good chance Munster will have to win to either hold on to top spot or to give them a chance of overtaking Glasgow. Ideal scenario would see them guaranteed second place regardless of the result and therefore inclined to rest up between the trip to Saracens and the visit of Ulster.

If one of Ospreys and Cardiff desperately need the result and the other is on the beach, you won't need collusion. Whichever team has nothing to play for will get steamrollered.

So far so good, very doable now.
We need this wrapped very soon, though. We don’t want to be going down to Thomond on the last day needing a win.

There's also a chance that if we finish 3rd we could end up playing Benetton in the QF, probably unlikely but given the way they've been performing of late that would not necessarily be preferable to Edinburgh or Ulster, but all places we've won in the past.

Cardiff Glasgow was some entertainment! I switched sides several times during the course of it.
Not the best result given all the bonus points. Cardiff only denied two points so they're not dead and buried, whereas the 5 for Glasgow puts paid to the slight chance we had of getting into the top 2. It looked a lot better for us on 73 minutes.
Overall though, it's been a productive weekend results-wise. Connacht are now odds-on for a knockout place.
Also given that we're (slightly) ahead of everyone in the other conference bar Leinster, there's a decent chance that even if we get to the QF and lose, we could get 5th overall and thus avoid the lowest seeding pot in the Champions Cup (though plenty of twists and turns before then).
