Removed Ospreys and Cardiff results, as we can't catch them.

I'm not enjoying updating this anymore
It really should be easy to see some improvements next season
3 games left, we're 13 points behind Cardiff - Good night
We're 1 point behind the Ospreys, who also have a game in hand.
Anyone doing anything nice for their summer holidays?

Every team "lost" 4 fixtures from last season, and these were replaced by 3 fixtures against the South African teams.
So with one game less this year, to stay at the same level in the table, each team needed to get 3/4 of the points from the "lost" fixtures against the South African teams.
For example, Connacht "lost" 13 points - 5 Treviso(h); 4 Dragons(h); 4 Edinburgh(a); 0 Scarlets(h).
We needed to make back 10 points over the three games against Cheetahs & Kings (13 * 3/4 = 9.75) which we did.
It's just a pity we didn't push on for the full 5 points against Cheetahs as that would have (more than) covered our losses against the others teams so far this season.

Apologies for the delay, I was away last week. Picked up 1 losing bonus point from Week 17, in a game where on another day, we might have managed 5 points.
Neither Cardiff or the Ospreys played, which doesn't help us.
Next up, Edinburgh at home on the 23rd (I think). Got 5 points in that game last season. Looks like a tough ask to repeat that, but fingers crossed

Picked up 4 points, and our first away win of the season at Treviso.
Still dropped a point on last season though. Both Cardiff and Ospreys matched our points this week, so no change there.
Away to the Cheetahs on Saturday now. Need something there. Preferably a massive 5 points, but I imagine the chances are very slim.

I'm starting to wonder if we might need Cardiff to do us a favour against Zebre. They're not that far behind...

Shocking performance on Friday. Lost 5 points in comparison to last season.
Cardiff pulled 5 points ahead of us, and Ospreys are now only 2 points behind us
Let's move on.
Up next is an away match to Treviso, who are on a 5 game winning streak. They must be favorites.
Cardiff are away to Zebre, and Ospreys are at home to the Cheetahs. We need some serious favours from Bradley and the Saffas, and that's presuming that we actually perform ourselves

Cardiff are currently 1 point better off than us, and Ospreys and 7 points behind us. I'll keep track of how we are doing in comparison to those two teams going forward
So, while we have Zebre at home on Friday, Cardiff are at home to Munster, and Ospreys are at home to the Kings
Lets hope that Munster do us a favour, and that we at least match Ospreys points tally

BOOM! Picked up 4 points on last season. That puts us at +3 overall.
Next up is Zebre at home on Friday. Need the full 5 to match last season

Anyway, next few weeks are taken up with European matches. Week 14, is the home game against Ospreys.
We picked up 0 points at home to the Welsh region last season. I think this seasons result may hinge on Week 5 of the Champions Cup. If Ospreys can stay in contention for a 1/4 final spot, it will hopefully mean that they will rest a few players against us. Need an improvement on last season from this game
In good news, Ospreys are still in with a chance after round 5 of the Champions Cup. Hopefully that means that they play their very best team in Round 6, and rest some players the week after, where as we can rest players in round 6 of the Challenge Cup, and focus on the Ospreys match

Only got to listen to the game on the radio, and sounds like we could have potentially snuck a victory. Anyway, that's a point gained on last season
Next up, Munster away, a game where we got 0 points (and a hiding) last season

The next three Pro14 matches resulted in 0 points last season.
If we could manage at least 2 points over the next three games, and keep up the standard, I wouldn't be overly disappointed
