Hi is there anyone planning the trip to Gloucester? I'm basing myself in Coventry with family but just looking for any advice on tickets/watering holes etc

2 of us are going. Flying to Bristol (out Saturday and back Sunday evening) and renting a car. Staying in Premier Inn in Gloucester. Tickets not available on Gloucester site yet so will need to keep an eye out (or maybe the Clan will be sourcing group tickets?).

Hi, bulk of Clan tend to head onto Shed Terrace for Glaws trips. Much better Craic, and Glaws fans have always been very welcoming...

Unless you have very young kids or issues standing that's where I'd get tickets for. Then just get there early to get your space and grab a few pints and settle in..

It's on my mind to pay a visit there. I've a cousin in Bristol and may try and see her and the match.

I've a 13 Yr old coming over with me. The Shed is very lively but he'd need to be at the front. The local lads tend to have "their spot" and are in very early too. Most of decent seats are gone in the main stand except for behind the goals (one end is standing).
We've unfinished business at Kingsholm! We need to make amends for the three previous defeats!

How early would you recommend heading to the shed before KO to get decent spot?

The seasoned Shed campaigners can be in "Their Spot" up to an hour before the ko. The regulars then have a relay of lads bringing in the ale and mind The Spot. Of course that's grand until there's a mad rush to use the jacks (but only for a certain age).

There is planned industrial action by unions at a few railway companies on the Saturday. I think West Midlands Trains is the main one. Shouldn't affect too many people directly but there will no doubt be knock-on disruption, etc. So keep an eye out.

Just had a look at the Gloucester web site. They have a half price Black Friday ticket sale on for the Connacht match.

Feck it, that's the one I bought in advance. Any chance Leinster, Ulster and Montpellier will do likewise?

I should be landing in to Gloucester at about lunchtime on Saturday (rail strikes permitting) if anyone is about to watch the other games in the pub.
